What is Camp Pride?

Hi there! This is the official Carrd for Camp Pride, a annual online summer camp hosted on Discord for people from the LGBTQIA+ community between ages 14 and 22. The campers will be divided among different cabins and compete against each other to earn the most points. Perhaps you’ll even pick up a few friends along the way!

How does it work?

There is a few things to know when wanting to join camp!
This camp runs from June 1st to August 31st, with challenges being announced every other Sunday, you get ten days to finish each challenge as a team (or well, cabin). Cabins are sorted at the end of May/beginning of June when you join the main camp server.Main camp server?
Yes. There are two discord servers you need to have the best time at camp! There is the Main camp server, which changes year to year and there is the Camp Waiting Room, which is the off season server that is link all over this Carrd.

Alex became a director in 2025 along with four others with the start of our 5 director teams. It started camp in 2023 being immediately given the chance to be counselor, having been a crucial part of camp since!

Being our youngest director comes with its pros and cons but Kelp has taken to the challenge and persevered through it. Having been in camp since 2023 and staff since 2024 they have been a star among staff.

Newest Camper to join directors! He started at Camp Pride in 2022 and got to become a counselor in 2024. After the resignation of the original fifth director in early 2026 it was chosen to fill the role.

Our certified Speedster has had the longest time in director-dom! Being an assistant director in her second year of camp, 2024, she was asked to return as a full-on director during preparations for 2025.

Frequeently Asked Questions

1) How is age verified?

In order to access any of camp you need to select if you are an Adult or Minor via the role selection menus. We do not ask for any form of legal identification, if we find that there are discrepancies in age of user versus their roles we will handle it accordingly.

2) Once camp starts do I leave the Waiting Room?

No! Do not leave the waiting room once camp starts. The Waiting Room is how we set up for camp each year, as well as a way for us to do events in the off season and be able to reach out if anything happens to camp during the summer.

3) How do challenges work?

During camp youll get a new Challenge every other week, these challenges will be asking you to work with your cabin and sometimes other cabins to complete various tasks (i.e. creating a cabin website, showing off your cabin's work to do self care, etc.).

4) Can I be a Counselor?

Counselors are chosen prior to that year of camp. Barring unexpected circumstances there is no way for one to become Counselor once camp has started. There also is a strict requirement of having been and camper and/or CIT for at least one year prior to becoming Counselor.

5) Is there an activity requirement?

Unless you are Staff (CIT, Counselor, Director), there is no activity requirement. This includes chatting in general chats, cabin chats, or challenges. However, it is highly recommended and encouraged that you participate as that is where all the fun is!

Camp Prehistoric

This year we take a trip all the way back to the prehistoric age! With a new year means new counselors after all and they are all waiting for you to join them in the Prehistoric Ages. From Dire Wolf Cabin to Fossilized Fern Cabin, there's a cabin for everyone to join and that means you yes, YOU can join one of our lovely cabins and have the chance at helping your cabin win this year. Camp Trinkets

Camp Trinkets is our 2025 edition of Camp Pride. It was hosted in 2025 and was the first camp to have 5 directors. The cabins for this camp included Skateboard, Worm on a String and Crayon among many others. The winner was Lego cabin, with a grand total of 5065 points. That must be a really painful piece of lego to step on.

Mushrooms

These friendly fungi had some crazy happenings during their time in the shade, with their cabinsona Moss and their "shroomiecule" schemes it was an adventure to protect the forest with them.

Crayons

The artsy bunch that brought a smile to everyone!
Every crayon from the pack was unique in their own way, and together they crafted many colourful ideas.

Rubber Ducks

This squeaky bunch you'd often find off in their own bubble world if they aren't hanging out with their friends. There is so many silly things you can find with them if you know where to look.

Glowsticks

Two are better than one!
That's what Glowsticks say. With their twin mascots its double the fun. Shine bright with their one of a kind pair beside you.

Lego

Lego Cabin was a chaotic little build made of random bricks that somehow worked. It wasn’t perfect, pieces fell off all the time, but it was fun, loud, and a lot of carrots were being eaten. But at the end of it all the bricks together formed the trophy.

Worm on a String

Welcworm to the worm on a string cabin! Here, we like to commit cannibalism by eating yarn. Oh shit, wasn't supposed to mention that. Ummmm, that's awkward. I guess I'll stare at your bare feet instead and analyse your toe shape :) nO sToP eAtInG mY yArN DUDE

Skateboards

The skateboard cabin is filled with some chill people with a hint of love of chaos and fun! You can usually find us at the skatepark or with our headphones on and earbuds in.

Plushies

Plushie Cabin was a comfy, cozy cabin with purple colors and maybe some pinks mixed in sometimes. We had sleepovers, and a large collection of, you guessed it, Plushies!

D20s

Rolling.. rolling.. Nat 20!This is D20 cabin, the most dice loving cabin around. You'll often find them playing any games involving dice and they really really.. I mean really like D&D. They're just a 20 sided dice after all!

Confetti Poppers

These party goers were the life of the camp, with their cabinsona Poppy and her hacking escapades it was always a festivity in this cabin.

Camp Elemental

Camp Elemental is our 2024 edition of Camp Pride. It was the first year camp had changed directors from previous years, along with a completely different camp theme. The cabins for this camp included Earth, Water and Fire among many others. The winner was Fire cabin, with a grand total of 3000 points. Fire cabin really blazed a trail to victory.

Fire

Flamey little fellas we are!Causing chaos wherever we went and making friends along the way. This is fire cabin. We had the pep in our step and might have burned some bushes along the way.. but we made it through. You'll never dim our flame because we are fire!

Rock

In rock cabin, we don't take anything for granite. There may not be many campers active but we sure do always keep our coal. We rock n roll with anything that comes our way and we love to throw rocks at the directors!

Sun

Hello sunshine! we're sun, we'll brighten up your day and keep on shining _! maybe you can even meet our cabin mascot Lux! or their partner Calypso!! Have a Sunshineful day, we love you: shine on :D.

Plant

🌱 Plant Cabin was a very vibrant and green Cabin. 🪴 The green room and/or garden of camp if you will! We all had a love of plants,
although some of us struggle to keep real plants alive.
We had a lovely group of staff members at the time who kept us all in shape, and a lovely group of campers with a love of greenery and camp! We did our best in challenges although if memory serves correct we did not come out on top. But that's okay! We had a lot of fun anyways!

Earth

Earth was a very down to earth cabin... Kinda. Their counselors dubbed themselves Earth gods and sprung their CIT demi-gods from the ground. This cabin worked with the air cabin in the collaborative challenge where the two cabins learned to care for themselves together. The earth gods have been awfully quiet lately.... that's probably not concerning

Ice

Ice ice baby!
The ice cabin broke the ice by throwing puns at it. After a few nice jokes, it became common practice to use puns as they walked this empty street. Later on though, they became friends with the lightning cabin and infested the camp with lice because they couldn't hold back anymore, they had to let it goooooo-

Water

SPLASH !!
In the water we go with this cabin! Having fun is a blast when you're in water cabin! The most splish-splashiest cabin of them all.

Lightning

An electrifyingly exciting cabin! We in lightning cabin took pride in our alliance and friendship with the ice cabin, earning the group name lice. Charging into every challenge, lightning cabin put a shocking amount of effort into our submissions and found ourselves having a blast!

Moon

Welcome moonies to the Moon Cabin! Good luck finding our secrets... we're a cryptic bunch with a special language from our wonderful mascot Calypso and void's dog, Styx. Our vibes might be a little alien at first, as our energy and work ethic is out of this world, but we are super friendly and love to meet new people! Come hang out and watch the skies with us as we admire and wonder at the beauty of space.

Air

” Hi Air cabin , I'm a camper ” Hi a camper I'm air >:D, in the air cabin you'll never know what the winds got in store: winder as you may but we'll blow you away before you can find out our plans :3! we're very chaotic, and totally haven't had to try and go on a hunt for a channel we lost.... our channels were on a constant goose chase! Make sure to say hi to us next time you blow into town.

Camp Pride

While recent years have themed names for the camp with Camp Pride the year round name, it wasn't always like that. For the first 4 years of camp it was simply Camp Pride with very little change to the cabins each year. Some fan favorite cabins were Mothmen, Rats, and Dino Nuggets.

Mothmen

You seen the bagels around? Not that we’re hungry for jeans or anything…Hi! We are the mothmen, a fly high and have fun type of group >0< You’ll always find us at any function that involves lamps, sacrifices, goo goobieing, or big news for our cabin mascot, Kodi, to report on!

Friggin Frogs

Ribbit ribbit, welcome to the Friggin Frogs! We are a wonderfully interesting cabin with our members hopping from challenge to challenge with excitement. We also produced friggin awesome newspaper entries, displaying the breaking news that's croaking around the cabin. There are rumours that we tried to turn the friggin frogs gay, but we couldn't do that, they were gay to begin with!

Rats

Rats Rats We're the Rats
The rats cabin were a group of chaotic little rodents. They often got up to a bunch of crazy (crazy? I was crazy once) mischief like starting ...clubs in the campfire chats, writing Chuck E Cheese fanfiction, trapping turtles in a rubber room, and making the first camp piss emoji

Turtles

Welcome to our turtlely awesome cabin, where we stay in shells, not closets! The turtles were a creative group of individuals who loved breaking bread, our token straight cabinsona robbie THE SLAM 💪, and our mascots jerry and titles! While we never seemed to come up top with challenges, we managed to in the end! As the saying goes, slow and steady wins the race🐢ROCK LOBSTER🤘🦞

Bagel Jeans

The Cabin Whose Jeans Got Eaten and Their Hearts Ripped to Shreds
The bagel jeans cabin was a cabin that had many friends, but also many enemies. Their most memorable moment was the time they broke the record for lowest score for a challenge ever: they got 0 points. That's right, zero. Like, nothing. Even the director was shocked.

Pigeons

It's a bird, it's a plane, its!- Oh it's the Pigeons?
Hello and we are the Pigeons! We are known as the rats of the skies and love to cause chaos in every waking moment. From calling out for friends to participating in every challenge, we tried our hardest to be the best pigeons we can be. We often get a bad wrap, but through camp we were able to soar!

Spooky Spiders

🎵 Spooky scary spiders send shivers down your spine 🎵Welcome spiderlings to the Spooky Spider Cabin! Penelope is our lovely mascot. We're a little chaotic with all of the anarchy going on, but we're not as spooky as we are made to seem. The buggy trio is the best of the best and would never betray each other (team mothmen, roaches, and spiders for the win!). We are big fans of Percy Jackson too... Keep crawling and stay spooky!

Dino Nuggets

The Dino Nuggets cabin was a silly food cabin based off of the food dino nugget. We are again sorry for any betrayals we've caused and we come offering dino nugs! maybe you could even come pet our lovely cat mascot Nugget :D. We promise we won't betray anyone, anymore and if we do you can hit us with our ukulele!

Pancakes

Hey there! Welcome to cabin Pancakes! We're big fans of baking and cooking and you'll almost always find us in the kitchen! We were pretty average at challenges but we were definitely the best in making tasty food for camp! Now, let us all stand for our national anthem, Peaches, sung by Jack Black.

Croisants

OUI OUI!
Crossaints, the fluffy, delicious baked good that makes anyones tummy flip with joy when it's cooked right. This was such a light and airy cabin, encompassing the definition of a croissant. They loved to spend their time outside and even just devulge in french goods. Oh what a time to be a croissant!

Baguettes

The story of the baguettes cabin is a mysterious one. This cabin was last seen in 2022, prior to Camp Pride's big boom in popularity. After the cabin disappeared, the bagel jeans cabin started a murder mystery to find out who killed it. However, the murderer remains uncaught, roaming the world... watch your back...

Pretzels

Pretzels, Pretzels! Get your fresh baked pretzels!
The salty carnival snack that gets you running for joy. Whether it be a game, prize, or just simply a sit down to eat, Pretzels make up the very joy of togetherness. They can be found enjoying games or even winning prizes. But boy, do they love cheese!

Quesadilla

Yummy gooey goodness in your tummy.
Quesadillas can be made up of many things. Cheese, bacon, ham, or even tuna! The variety with these silly little fellas are endless when it comes to their unique combos. Cooking in the kitchen over a warm pan, having a good time with the ones they love. Quesadillas are an epic dish and an epic cabin to be apart of!
